About Us

This year’s Northumberland Hills Studio Tour will take place September 7 and 8, 2024.

Just an hour east of Toronto, some of Northumberland County’s most talented Artists open their studios for you to explore. Our participating Artists are tucked away in historic towns such as Port Hope and Cobourg and throughout the beautiful Northumberland Hills.

It may be hard to visit all of the locations, although many try. Use this website to get the most out of your tour. Samples of each Artist’s work along with maps and directions to their studios are included. If you need additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Our Mission Statement

Our mission is to inspire, educate and connect people through the power of art by showcasing the rich diversity and talent of local artists via an immersive and engaging art tour experience.

We aim to foster a deeper understanding of the arts and promote creativity, cultural exchange, and social cohesion while enhancing the vibrancy and character of our community.

Inspire. Educate. Connect.

Remembering Vikki Forsyth

Vikki Forsyth established the Northumberland Hills Studio Tour back in 1996 and kept us organized and running for 17 years before handing over the reins in 2014 to a few brave souls. She gave artists a voice and the general public insight into our way of creating art in all its forms. Thank you dear friend.
