Life is full of many different elements. I respond through my art accordingly. Movement gives me energy, energy fuels my imagination. Imagination flows with my response to the element. Colours give me pleasure. I combine these elements to produce my art as I work directly on paper, canvas, wood or metal.
The land, sky and water inspire me. Its many shapes, colours and weather conditions move me. I thrive being a part of it. Through my work I relive my time spent moving through living landscapes as I create my vision of them, both emotionally and physically.
The mediums I choose reflect the effect I’m seeking. I create original prints in relief, dry point, watercolour monotypes and intaglio. My paintings are in watercolour, acrylic and sometimes married with an original print.
