Beauty uplifts us and reminds us to be our best self. I’m constantly exploring ways to express my highest understanding of physical and spiritual beauty in paint, using styles ranging from abstract to realism.

I’ve spent my whole life working in the arts. Following a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of British Columbia, I embarked on a career as a singer, actress and pianist. Seeking a more settled life, I left the world of performing and spent the rest of my professional career as a music educator. I began painting in 1996, and eventually retired from teaching in 2013. Since then, painting has become my greatest passion, and hardly a day goes by when I don’t paint. I recently joined the artists’ cooperative at the Colborne Art Gallery.
