Paul Bailey

Paul Bailey is a Canadian painter who was born,  lives and works in Port Hope , a small town in southern Ontario Canada.  He paints the people, townscapes and rural scenes that make Northumberland county one of the most scenic places in Canada.  He studied figure drawing at the Ontario College of Art in the 1970s.  His work is his diary:  People and places that are meaningful and interesting.  He works in the figurative tradition, but in an expressionist style that invites the viewer to participate in the work.
