Wayne Mondok
Acrylic, oil, watercolour
Wayne was born in Toronto and is a self-taught artist who began drawing at an early age. After graduating the Humber College Graphic Design Program, Wayne worked as a graphic artist for a few years. before he began painting full time.
He has done various commercial work, including novel covers, book illustrations and other advertisements. Wayne works from his studio just outside Toronto, and is currently represented at the Westmount Gallery in Toronto and Koyman Galleries in Ottawa.
I paint various sized works mostly acrylic on canvas, although I sometimes use oils, watercolour or gouache. My subject matter varies – I paint landscapes, cityscapes, still-life, wildlife, figurative work, as well as other subjects.
