Inspired by the skies of Africa and the farms of Ontario, my work reflects my then and now.
Born in South Africa and raised in Zimbabwe, I arrived in Canada thirty years ago, and kept the wolf from the door as an award-winning art director in Toronto, until moving into the country to paint full-time in 2003.
Inspired by the farms of Ontario, the skies of Africa and the trees of Provence, my work is a series of minimalized abstracted landscapes in oil on canvas.
The goal being the sense of time and space existing outside a city environment.
